Famous scrambled eggs take three!
Well, it seems my research into famous oriental and asian mixed celebs wasn't so thorough after all... after posting 2 posts already on the topic, I seem to have missed out a ton of very high profile peeps who are blindingly obviously mixed! So, as they say, all good things come in threes, so here's post three of the famous scrambled eggs series.
Doh! How could I miss this one off?! This guy is so mixed it's not surprising he's drop dead gorgeous! His mother is English, and his father is of Japanese American, Hawaiian-Chinese, and Portuguese descent. Famous for Hollywood hits such as The Matrix trilogy, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Speed.
Double doh! Looks like I saved the best for the last post huh?! Maggie was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to an American father of Polish, French Canadian and Irish descent, and a Vietnamese mother. She's been in HK films regardless of the fact she couldn't speak Chinese (although she has learnt some Mandarin and Chinese since) and was also in Rush Hour 3.
Yes yes, I know, I am kicking myself... Amerie is half Korean. Her father is African American and her mother is Korean. She's a big American R'n'B singer. Her biggest hit to date is "1 thing" which got her two nominations at the MTV awards.
Yes, Superman is part Japanese. Born Dean George Tanaka to actress Sharon Thomas and U.S. Army serviceman half Japanese Roger Tanaka, he is one quarter Japanese. His mother later married film director Christopher Cain and Dean was adopted by his step father. Although he has been in numerous TV shows and films, he's most famous as his role as Superman in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in the 90's.
If you're not Chinese, or into HK movie stars, this guy won't be familiar to you. If you are, then you'll know WHY he's so famous at the moment. He was the main feature of a photo scandal when shots of him and a number of very high profile Hong Kong actresses were leaked onto the internet. Trust me, they were VERY explicit and not a pretty sight. Anyway, Edison is supposedly mixed race but I can't find info on exactly how or what so any info would be gratefully received!
