The wild back yard...

Who needs to visit a zoo to snap wildlife?! Yesterday I went hunting in my uncle's garden and got some great snaps of a grasshopper which was bouncing around the bushes. Unfortunately he was in the shade so I only got one really clear shot with my flash. The rest I was trying to snap with a combination of slow shutter and small aperture with no flash.... not really something you want to do when your subject doesn't stand still! Anyway, I managed to get this great shot, and another of a incy wincy spider chomping on a fly.. or something... it was chomped beyond recognition! Not a bad shot when your subject is literally 2mm big!
