Elephant murder!

Is it just me, or does the lack of concern or distaste for the woman who shot dead a bull elephant with a bow and arrow in today's Metro newspaper seem totally wrong??! Apparently, someone bet her she couldn't kill an elephant with an arrow, so she "couldn't turn down a challenge". So she just jets off to Zimbabwe, kills an innocent living thing which has a life span just as long as humans and probably twice the intelligence of said blood thirsty hunter, just to prove it can be done. And the fact that the Metro shows no concern or distaste is disappointing. Not only does it seem to HAIL her as the first woman to achieve this feat, but it posts people's congratulatory comments on her blog, praising her as stunning and an avid hunter!

Sometimes I really wonder about people...
