iPhone on Tesco Mobile... nice!
Oh goddamit! After years of saying how much I hate Apple… I have been totally sucked into the iphone hype thanks to my boyfriend (who should be an Apple iphone spokeman/salesman the way he tries to convert people). I just read that Tesco mobile have just released their price plans for the iphone and I have to say it’s mightily attractive…
For an iPhone 3G 8GB they’re offering a 12 month contract, £20 a month, with 300 minutes of calls or 600 texts, and will let you upgrade to the newest iPhone in a year, all for £222. If you go for a 24 month contract it’s free if you pay £60 a month and you get unlimited calls and texts.
The iPhone 3GS 16GB will be £320 on the same 12 month contract, or free on 24 months. The 32GB iPhone 3GS costs £407 on the 12 month, and £50 on a two year contract. Pay As You Go costs £342 for the 3g 8GB, £440 for the 3GS 16GB and £538 for the 3GS 32GB with unlimited data.
Got to admit, it’s a waaaaaaaaay better deal than stingy O2, who give you hardly ANY minutes and texts on a £30 iphone tariff, and Orange’s rubbish offering which barely allows you to stream an album a day.
