Property empire DIY queen!

Well, May bank holiday has been and gone... far too quickly... Friday I had a day off and went to a Rich Dad Poor Dad Property investment seminar. I suspected it would be trying to sell SOMETHING as it was free, and they didn't give much info away as they kept on reiterating that you'd find out more info at their full 3 day property investment course which costs £500 (today only naturally!). It was interesting and the guy giving the talk was engaging but it was SO one big sales pitch. We cycled there (Glocester Road) and then Portobello Market, Bayswater and back to my boyf's place.

Saturday we went to Harpenden to visit friends for lunch, and it was really nice to catch up with them... had a really nice day. The rest of the weekend was spent in B&Q with my boyf trying to make a decision on paint colour to decorate his room. When he finally chose a colour, B&Q didn't have it, and then when he chose an alternative they didn't have 5l cans... ended up picking a minty green and painted the entire room on Monday... only for him to decide he didn't really like it that much! hehe... I think it looks nicer than the colour he originally chose though, which was a yucky bogey khaki colour hehe...

So, this week, things to look forward to... Spiderman 3 tomorrow (I HOPE!) and dinner with friends on Thursday... no plans for the weekend, probably more DIY... good thing I enjoy it hehe...
