20's? Pah! I'd rather be warm!

Sitting on the bus it finally dawned on me, as I approach my 30th birthday, my 20's are well behind me. There's me, wooly hat, scarf, 2 layers of thermals, knitted jumper, padded jacket, gloves, leggings AND jeans, leg warmers and uggs. Then there's the 20-something opposite me, low cut top, boobs out, no scarf, thin leggings, leather jacket... frantically reapplying copious amounts of bronzer to her already orange face. Somewhere along the line, I put warmth above looking like a oompa loompa on holiday. God I feel old. But I can guarantee I feel bloody warmer than she does! Ha!
