I hate London Underground

...especially the damn Jubilee line. Is it EVER fully running on a weekend? Not recently, that's for sure! It's been part closed every weekend for the past 2 months practically. Fine when you live in an area with alternatives, but my station doesn't... and today I checked my igoogle and was faced with this lovely reminder of just how totally and utterly useless London's public transport really is...

 

With the highest rail fares in Europe, and an underground system that seems closed more than it is open, perhaps owning a car really IS the way forward... at least, it would be if it didn't cost £8 to drive through zone 1... *rant rant grumble grumble*
