I'm a finalist!!

Look what landed in my inbox today! I'm a finalist in the ‘Food Farming and Rural Life’ competition! My photo will be displayed along with the other 2 finalists at the Royal Show in Warwickshire! I totally forgot I even entered, emailing off a piggy photo I'd taken in Wiltshire on the way to Hastings one weekend. HOw exciting! Is it bad that I only want to win first prize?? Not too interested in a subscription to Worcestershire Life, Warwickshire Life, Shropshire Life or Herefordshire Life magazines! hehe...

Dear Erin

Thank you very much for entering our ‘Food Farming and Rural Life’ competition in association with the Royal Show and Casio.  

I am delighted to inform you that your photograph captioned ‘Animals are one of the biggest parts of rural life…’ has been selected as one of three finalists in the Worcestershire Life category.   

Your image – alongside the other competition finalists and a selection of highly commended photos - will be enlarged and displayed in the foyer of Food & Drink Hall 2 for the duration of the Royal Show (Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, 7^th-10^th July).  During the course of the event, visitors to the show will be given the opportunity to vote for their favourites. 

We would like to invite you and a guest to come to the foyer of Food & Drink Hall 2 at 2.30pm next Friday 10^th July where the votes will be counted and the winners announced.   The winning photographer in each county will receive a Casio EX-FH20 and the runners-up will each receive a subscription to either Worcestershire Life, Warwickshire Life, Shropshire Life or Herefordshire Life. 

I would be very grateful if you could let me know whether or not you can attend ASAP, so I can pop your tickets in the post.  If you are unable to make it we will contact you after the event to notify you of the outcome.
