Under stairs reading nook

After finally getting a new washer dryer, I decided I wanted to do something nice for the kids in the space under the stairs. It had previously been home to the tumble dryer, a show cabinet and was a general dumping ground for any crap we couldn't find a home for. 

After a lot of Pinterest hunting I was torn between a built in play house or a reading nook... but after getting quotes ranging from £600-1100 for a custom built play house, the reading nook won! A quick trip to ikea and some Christmas lights later and TA DAA! We have a little reading nook which my 3 year old LOVES. Let's hope she uses it for years to come. Oh and bonus it cost me £37!
